The December mailer has been sent out. It includes information about the CCS changes, RRSW changes, new rules, amateurs moving up, the 2006 license application and more. 10.31.05 :: 2005 Race of Champions - Daytona
The Race of Champions at Daytona was a great success this year. We actually had less rain than usual, but the new 3 mile course is still a huge challenge. The banking has to be seen to be believed. The Southwest Region was well represented both in numbers and results. One highlight was Davie Stone, holding his three Class Champions trophies, asking everyone to come to the southwest and to race with us. 09.30.05 :: Road Race Southwest is proud to announce we will be hosting the entire November 19 – 20 event at Firebird West. The last race of the season is “Double Points” so many Class Championships and the regions “Top Ten” will be decided.
Pre-entries to this event should be sent to Road Race Southwest at the numbers listed below. Our “extra special service” means you will be notified after your entry has been processed. If you do not hear from me two weeks prior to the event, call Heidi at 623.214.2615 or email her at heidi@roadracesw.com.

09.22.05 :: American Red Cross
Just to let everyone know, $1545.00 was raised for the American Red Cross
through donations made by both racers and the staff at the recent Las Vegas
race. Some notable contributions were made by Michael “Cold Beer Belly” Coberly
who donated his Unlimited GP winnings of $110.00 and Dale Keiffer of Racers Edge
and our own race referee Larry Bradly who donated $100.00 each. All donations
were matched by Tom Krause of Road Race Southwest who spearheaded the effort.
